Yesterday brought with it the announcement of Fire TV, Amazon's TV set-top box/gaming console—details of which you can read about here—generating a whole lot of excitement and/or disappointment among gamers across the web.
Regardless of your thoughts on the device, there's one thing you can't deny, Amazon Game Studios has some serious development talent backing Fire TV. In addition to picking up Double Helix earlier this year, Kotaku reports that Amazon has also hired Far Cry 2 designer Clint Hocking as well as Portal designer Kim Swift.
You can pick up a Fire TV right now for $99 and Amazon's specially designed game controller for just under $40.
