Rumors have been circulating the web for quite some time regarding a high-definition remake of Halo 2 in celebration of the game's tenth anniversary later this year. Now, a new report suggests that not only will Xbox One gamers be treated to a remastered version of the aforementioned Xbox classic, but also improved versions of all Spartan 117's other adventures as well.
That's right, according to Engadget, Microsoft is planning to release Halo: The Master Chief Collection, which bundles together remastered versions of Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo 4. Sadly however, it doesn't look like Halo 3: ODST or Halo: Reach will be included in the collection.
And the next-gen porting rumors don't end there, as word has it that Activision is looking to bring the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare trilogy of titles to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later this year. According to a post on Reddit, the compilation will launch on November 25th and all three bundled games will run at 1080p and 60fps.
