If you're looking for a way to work out a disagreement with another attendee at Comic-Con, why not use the latest Super Smash Bros. game on Nintendo 3DS to settle things.
Nintendo will be in San Diego at Comic-Con International, giving convention goers the opportunity to participate in a Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS tournament. Fans can visit the Nintendo Gaming Lounge at Marriott Marquis & Marina to enter and participate.
The hotel is located at 333 W. Harbor Drive, near the convention center and the competition starts at Noon on July 25th. The release states that players will take part in "a preliminary round in which groups of four… battle it out, with the winner advancing." If you can make it past that first round, you'll get to "duke it out one-on-one to determine the top smasher." Sign-ups are only available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Nintendo will also stream the tournament online for fans at home. Visit www.twitch.tv/Nintendo on the day of the competition and during Comic-Con International for other Nintendo Gaming Lounge activities.
While we still don't know when Nintendo plans on releasing Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo Wii U, the 3DS version will be available on October 2nd. For more, read our hands-on preview of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS from E3 2014.
