Justin Moravetz and his development studio ZeroTransform hope to bring fast-paced 3rd person rail shooter Vanguard V to virtual reality headsets on a variety of platforms including Oculus Rift and Sony's Project Morpheus for PlayStation 4.
The studio describes the game as "a fast action VR experience that takes you on a journey from the low orbit of our planet, down to the very core." Vanguard V has been "designed for VR from day one" to celebrate "control, design, and amazing music."
The team has successfully collected $24,571, though the goal stands tall at $198,000, and the team has promised a cooperative campaign, new game plus options, and a making-of documentary. More interestingly, the team will make a Virtual Boy compatible version if they collect $1,000,000. Here's gameplay in virtual-vision:
