Following the release of Total War: Rome II, Sega and Creative Assembly have announced the next installment in the Total War series named Total War: Attila to be released in February 2015 on PC and Mac.
This installment continues the Roman saga in the Dark Ages with various tribes battling against the Roman Empire in 395 AD, which includes the infamous Attila the Hun who invaded the Eastern Roman Empire in 441. Fans will be familiar with this sequel's turn-based and real-time blend of strategic gameplay, and its reintroduction of trees for skills and family branches.
The trailer isn't that strong with the mouth-syncing, but let's keep at least some optimism. Fans are hoping that The Creative Assembly learns from its mistakes with Total War: Rome II and its bugs at launch.
