This date falls just two weeks after The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’s release date. Release dates for Nintendo exclusives tend to be more spaced out, which may suggest that the leak is inaccurate. However, May 26 falls on a Friday, a common release date for Nintendo exclusives (May 12, Tears of the Kingdom’s release date, also falls on a Friday).
Regardless of Pikmin 4’s actual release date, we can still expect it to arrive sometime this year. Nintendo Direct is right around the corner, so we might get an exact date during the biggest Nintendo event of the year.
