Nacon announced on Thursday that a new RIG audio headset, the RIG 900 MAX HX, is available now, featuring high-end gaming audio quality licensed for the Xbox.
Headset available now
The new Xbox licensed headset features personalized Dolby Atmos sound, a first for a gaming headset, that lets players create their own custom profiles to fine-tune the audio experience as they see fit. The headset also features dual wireless connectivity with Bluetooth audio and a charging base station as well. The headset is designed to work with the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC platforms.
The main features of the RIG 900 MAX are its two wireless modes. The headset supports the options for 2.4GHz connectivity via USB wireless while also supporting Bluetooth 5.1, allowing players to use the headset for more competitive games while also being able to play on the go on consoles like the Nintendo Switch.
According to Nacon, the headset will sport a 50-hour battery life on the 2.4GHz connection and up to 60 hours while using it wirelessly with Bluetooth. The RIG 900 MAX weighs 295 grams (10.5 ounces) as well, which Nacon says is light enough to be breathable and comfortable on the head without ever weighing down too much.
