Fracture Preview

[image1]You are a gardener with violent tendencies.  At the last mulching conference, you became irate and made inappropriate gestures with your green thumb.  You let your dog crap in other people’s yards. When your neighbors complain, you reply “suck my perennial.”

Until now there have just simply been no good landscaping/shooter games.  Fracture aims to change that by planting the strange fruit of “landscape deformation.”  In the multi-player death-matches of Fracture, all of the ground is able to be raised or lowered using special grenades and guns.  One grenade raises the terrain into a hill, another lowers it into a depression.  Since you move faster down hills than you do up them, you can use the grenades to create tactical advantage.  Or a nice shade garden.

The deformation tricks look incredible, as does the special gun whose bullets tunnel just under the surface of the earth.  But the rapidly changing battlefield makes orientation a skill in itself.  You, of course, with your extensive background in ground should have no problem reaping fields of frags.
