While there are plenty of licensed teams, leagues, and players in the game, this Football Manager 2021 real name fix should bring a much larger pool of real names. To get more real player names, stadium names, team names, league names, cup names, and more into the game, though, players need to download and install a third-party file. Here is how to get real player names in FM 2021 (and more).
How to get real names in Football Manager 2021
A third-party file will need to be downloaded and installed in the correct place to get real names in Football Manager 2021. Once installed correctly, though, players will notice a lot more real-life player names, team names, and more in their playthrough of Sports Interactive’s latest management sim. It will be like it’s licensed.

Thanks to the real name fix from FMScout listed above, there should, at least, now be many more real player names, team names, and more in FM 2021. If the fix didn’t work, try and start a new save. Apply the same fix to the “2101” folder, too, if it still isn’t working.
Now that it is known how to add real player names to Football Manager 2021, the game should seem more realistic than it did before. The real name fix above should, hopefully, work fine for everyone. Remember, though, downloading and installing a third-party file/mod such as this is done at the player’s own risk.
