Tekken 8 Season 1 Update 2 and 3 revealed
Feb-March Update 2
With the February-March Update 2, Tekken 8 will feature in-game collaborations and a brand new “TEKKEN SHOP” feature. Character adjustments and bug fixes are also on board.
The TEKKEN SHOP feature was not elaborated upon, but players have a vague idea of what it’s about. As per the game’s ESRB rating update, Bandai Namco Entertainment may add micro-transactions to Tekken 8. Implementing the in-game currency known as Fight Money for the TEKKEN SHOP is a possibility.
April Update 3
During April, Update 3 will drop for Tekken 8 and it promises the debut of “TEKKEN World Tour 2024” alongside several unannounced features. This update will also prioritize character adjustments and bug fixes.
The time for the competitive Tekken tournament featuring the highest-ranked players throughout the season is approaching fast. The Tekken World Tour event is celebrating its seventh year with the announcement of the TEKKEN World Tour 2024.
The unannounced features could potentially address plugging, the infamous problem within the Tekken community. However, due to some countries having strict customer protection laws, banning players who practice plugging is becoming a hindrance.
