Although there isn’t a set release date for New Game Plus, it looks like it will be coming soon. Insomniac Games replied to a fan on Twitter, saying that they are “working on it now and polishing it up!” This implies that it will likely come well in advance of the first of the game’s three DLC packs, which is scheduled to be released on October 23.
Although Insomniac has yet to elaborate on what New Game Plus will entail, it is likely that it will just mean that players can restart the story without having to sacrifice their suits, mods, and gadgets. This gives players an opportunity to play through the story again on a higher difficulty, as they’ll have some of the game’s most powerful equipment early on, as well as a wealth of combat experience from having beaten it a first time.
