Mortal Kombat 11 PC beta

Mortal Kombat 11 PC beta – is there one?

Mortal Kombat 11 is the latest in the series of legendary fighting games, and it’s due out in just a few short months. At least the console versions are, but what about PC? NetherRealm has a habit of releasing its games late on PC, so is the Mortal Kombat 11 PC release date the same as the console versions? Is there a Mortal Kombat 11 PC beta, and if so, when does that happen and how do you take part in it? We’ve got the answers.

Is there a Mortal Kombat 11 PC beta?

The Mortal Kombat 11 beta was previously announced as happening in March 2019, and we’ve just had that confirmed as specifically March 28, so anyone wanting to get a taste of the new Mortal Kombat game can do that then. But on what platforms is the beta on? Is it on PC? Well, unfortunately we’ve got bad news for PC owners, as the Mortal Kombat 11 beta is currently only down for release on PS4 and Xbox One.

Any players wanting to try the Mortal Kombat 11 beta can get an invite by pre-ordering the game, but obviously only PS4 and Xbox One owners will get access to the beta when it begins on March 28. PC and Nintendo Switch Mortal Kombat 11 pre-order customers will be able to claim Shao Kahn as exclusive pre-order DLC, but not the beta. Sorry.

What is the Mortal Kombat 11 PC release date?

The good news, at least, is that unlike Mortal Kombat 9 or the two Injustice: Gods Among Us games from NetherRealm, Mortal Kombat 11 will continue the trend set by Mortal Kombat X in that it will be released on all platforms at the same time. This includes PC, just to clarify. NetherRealm often gives PC owners a bit of a rum deal with its games, either through lateness or not getting DLC. Hopefully the lack of a beta is the only problem with the Mortal Kombat 11 PC version.
