FIFA 19 Champions Edition Crash

FIFA 19 Champions Edition Crash | Why can’t I log into Fifa 19 on my Xbox One?

As of the time of writing, it looks like FIFA 19 players who are playing on the Xbox One have been experiencing the FIFA 19 Champions Edition crash for about 14 hours. The Champions Edition crash is preventing players from being able to log in and is causing extreme frustration since they are unable to play. It is always annoying when a game is unexpectedly unavailable, especially when it persists for long periods of time. It is important to note that this issue is only affecting Xbox One players, it is not a problem with the EA servers, it is an issue on Microsoft’s side. So if you own the game on another platform, you’re good to go. The good news is that Xbox Support has identified the problem, so hopefully, a fix should be coming soon. Until now, here’s some information that can help those plagued by the new issue.

What has Xbox Support said about the FIFA 19 Champions Edition crash?

Xbox Support first noted the issue on April 9 at around 2 AM ET on the team’s Twitter page. The crew assured players that the developers were aware of the problem and were looking into it. Since then, they have narrowed down the problem to an “inability to launch the Ultimate Edition and Champions Edition of FIFA 19.” In the latest update, which came in on April 9 at 3:14 PM ET, Xbox Support stated that their engineers understood the issue and we’re working to get it fixed. Now that they have officially identified the problem, hopefully it won’t be long before a fix is sent out.

Is there anything I can do to fix the FIFA 19 Champions Edition crash?

FIFA 19 Champions Edition Crash

Unfortunately, if you are experiencing issues with FIFA 19 there is nothing you can do except wait. Some fans have tried to uninstall the game, but have had no luck getting it to run again. In fact, Xbox Support even tweeted out that uninstalling the game would not resolve the issue. Unforunately, when it comes to server issues, there really isn’t much you can do except wait. If you own a copy of the game on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, or PC, you will be able to play it fine. However, if you don’t, we would recommend loading up another game to pass the time.
