Bungie has revealed the new armor, weapons, and rewards for 2019’s The Dawning holiday event. This yearly Destiny 2 festival features lots of snow and holiday treats, as well as tons of cosmetic items. This Destiny 2 Dawning 2019 guide covers all the armor, Sparrows, ships, quests, and rewards we know of for this year’s celebration.

Destiny 2 Dawning 2019 | Quests & rewards
While most of the holiday goodies will be available for Silver through the Eververse store, this year’s Dawning has a few items players can earn in-game. Much like 2018’s Dawning recipes, players will be able to gather ingredients from across Destiny 2’s destinations in order to bake treats at vendor Eva Levante’s Holiday Oven. These can then be turned in to other vendors for various rewards. While it’s not known exactly how these quests will work yet, database information for the Alpine Dash exotic Sparrow show it’s related to a “Delivery” quest, which requires giving a Dark Chocolate Motes treat and Fractal Rolls treat to the Drifter and Brother Vance, as well as baking 50 treats overall.

Bungie also announced this year’s Dawning weapon, an SMG called Cold Front. Players will be able to somehow grind for the perfect Cold Front roll, presumably somewhat like how Festival of the Lost’s BrayTech Werewolf worked. Cold Front is an Aggressive Frame SMG that can roll with the following traits:
- Column 3:
- Zen Moment
- Underdog
- Pulse Monitor
- Feeding Frenzy
- Auto-Loading Holster
- Column 4:
- Osmosis
- Kill Clip
- Vorpal Weapon
- Dynamic Sway Reduction
- Rangefinder
Besides the aforementioned Sparrow and SMG, non-Eververse Dawning rewards appear to include an emblem, two shaders, and a ship called Bright Spirits.

Outside of these items, there will be plenty of cosmetics in the Eververse store. Bungie revealed the new 2019 Dawning armor sets for each class, teased a few new emotes, and showed off two exotic Ghost shells. You can find each of these images and trailer below.
The Dawning begins on Tuesday, December 17, and ends on Tuesday, January 14.
