Resident Evil 3 Remake West office Safe Code

Resident Evil 3 Remake RPD West Office Safe Code

In Resident Evil 3 remake, while playing as Carlos in the RPD, you’ll come across a safe in the West Office. Fans of the series will recognize this area immediately, but they’ll probably wonder if the RPD West Office safe code is the same as it was in RE2 remake.

What’s the RPD West Office safe code in Resident Evil 3 remake?

Resident Evil 3 Remake RPD West Office Safe Location

The west office safe actually has a lot of history. You’ve been able to open it in every version of Resident Evil 2 (the code was 2236 on PS1 and 4542 on N64). You also got to see, but not unlock it, in the original version of Resident Evil 3.

If you want a hint on how to get the West Office safe combo, here are a few clues:

  • The code is in a file.
  • The file is in a room that is dark.
  • The same file has appeared in a previous game, but not in the same location.

If you still can’t figure it out, read on below!

In Resident Evil 3 remake, you’ll find out the code to the west office safe the same way you do in RE2 remake. The key to learning the combo is a memo you can find entitled “Internal Memo.”

Resident Evil 3 Remake RPD West Office Safe Code Location

This time around, though, the Internal Memo isn’t found in Wesker’s Office in the STARS Office. Instead, you’ll get it in the Dark Room near the stairs leading up to the second floor.

The memo reads:

Sept. 22, 1998

Office Supply Internal Relocation Notice

Heat-resistant 3-number combination safe

-Moved from S.T.A.R.S. Office (2F) to West Office (1F)

The combo is Left 9, Right 15, Left 7.

Please change the combo ASAP upon receipt.

R.P.D. Facility Maintenance Dept.

So, there you go, the R.P.D. west office safe code is:

  • 9 Left
  • 15 Right
  • 7 Left

Fortunately, no one followed the memo’s advice and changed the code. When you open the safe, you’ll be rewarded with the same item you are in Resident Evil 2: a side pack.
