Is there a Spider-Man: Miles Morales Multiplayer or Co-op Mode?

A Spider-Man: Miles Morales multiplayer or co-op mode would add some more longevity to the game, but is the game single-player only or not? While the original Marvel’s Spider-Man was not known for its multiplayer offerings, a sequel tends to add more new features. Given that this is a sequel/side-story and smaller game, though, there is no guarantee of anything new like multiplayer or co-op being added. Here’s the lowdown on multiplayer in Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

Does Spider-Man: Miles Morales have multiplayer?

Spider-Man: Miles Morales multiplayer

A Spider-Man: Miles Morales multiplayer mode or co-op would add to the game’s replayability. One player could take control of Peter’s Spider-Man while another controls Miles’ Spider-Man.

At launch, a multiplayer mode is not available in Spider-Man: Miles Morales. It is a single-player only game.

As stated above, too, it is a shorter game than its predecessor, acting as a side story to some extent for a different character. This means, too, that there is no co-op in Miles Morales. The player has to complete Miles’ story and adventure across New York alone. Yes, even the two different Spider-Men cannot be played in co-op, despite the acknowledgment of the meme.

While there is a lack of multiplayer, there should still be plenty to get on with in the game. It isn’t a proper sequel, but it is a full story arc. Hopefully, Miles Morales’ story will be enough to get each gamer by without multiplayer. Who knows, too, a future installment may well include some kind of multiplayer or co-op mode. Unfortunately, our spider-senses don’t see that far into the future though.
