Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War‘s Daily Challenges provide a great way of earning bonus XP by using different guns, playing in different modes, and fulfilling other easy-to-complete objectives. Unfortunately, they don’t always work, appearing bugged or glitched out for some players. Often, Reserves will be completely empty, meaning players can swap challenges out. Here’s the Black Ops Cold War Daily Challenges not working fix.
Black Ops Cold War Daily Challenges not working fix
To fix the Black Ops Cold War Daily Challenges not working, players should do the following:
- Reboot the game.
- Completely exiting the game and then rebooting into it can sometimes cause the challenges to work properly again.
- Play a round.
- Complete a single round in any game mode and then check the challenges after the match. This has worked for us, personally.
- Wait until the daily reset time has triggered.
- While it’s inconvenient, waiting until the challenges refresh is the most consistent way of fixing this issue.
At the time of writing, the Daily Challenges not working bug or glitch is still causing issues in Black Ops Cold War Season 2. Here’s hoping developer Treyarch Studios is able to come up with a permanent fix. Until then, the above solutions will have to suffice.
Players who are frustrated with the issue should know they are not alone, as we here at GameRevolution have also been experiencing the problem. Our challenges are often missing with no new objectives to complete.
In other Call of Duty news, it looks like Season 2 is going to be significantly shorter than Season 1. Here’s when it’s scheduled to end.
As for Season 3 and the vast amount of content that it will no doubt bring, here’s when it is will begin.
On the other side of the battle royale genre is Fortnite, which seems to be getting a Xenomorph alien skin.
