Battlefield 2042 has been out for several months now, and fans are eager for the start of season 1. This extensive dose of support should come with new modes, guns, and items to unlock, so it’s no surprise that expectations are high. The game is technically still in season 0, the base season immediately after its release, but when is BF2042 season 0 due to end? Here’s the need-to-know info.
What is the Battlefield 2042 Season 0 end date?
There isn’t a concrete date for the Battlefield 2042 season 0 end date. However, by our estimation it should be in January or February 2022, when season 1 is scheduled to begin.
That’s because developer DICE has said that, in its first twelve months, there will be four seasons of Battlefield 2042. As such, each should last around three months, making an early 2022 date likely for the end of season 0. However, that’s speculation, so it’s still worth waiting for DICE to give us official confirmation of when season 0 will draw to a close, with season 1 set to begin. Since we’re approaching the end of the year, that should come sooner rather than later.
At the moment, we don’t quite know what Battlefield 2042 season 1 will bring, either. However, you can guarantee that there will be a new battle pass, complete with weapon camos, skins, and cosmetic items to unlock. Equally, there’s the promise of a new specialist to use in-game, but details on that should be revealed nearer the time.
As of right now, Battlefield 2042 season 0 is just the base version of the game. There aren’t any premium items or features as of yet, to help drum up excitement for when they arrive when the first battle pass drops. It may still be a few months off in the future, but the end of season 0 should usher in a new era for Battlefield 2042.
