Quordle Answer 114

Quordle Answer 114: May 18, 2022 Word Solution

The Quordle 114 answer for May 18, 2022 has been revealed. In a rare occasion, one of the words in today’s solution is surprisingly a repeat from another Quordle puzzle earlier this month. It’s a fairly difficult word to figure out as it has three vowels in unusual positions, and the other three words are no slouches either. The top-left word in particular is not a word you see very often, so if you need a hint for it, it has something to do with forks. If you need the complete answer, you can read it in the following section.

What is the Quordle answer 114? (May 18, 2022)

Quordle Answer 114

The Quordle answer 114 is:

  • “PRONG”
  • “GRAPH”
  • “WITCH”
  • “VOILA”

For those of you who completed Quordle 100, you’ll notice that “VOILA” has reared its head once again. Because of the “V” and the three vowels, you may need to think for a bit to reach that word if you haven’t seen it before. “PRONG” and “GRAPH” are also difficult if you aren’t able to get the “P” or the “G” early in the puzzle. Luckily, they only have one vowel, so that narrows down the possibilities. “WITCH” might seem fairly easy, but the “?ITCH” configuration might make you use a few more guesses than you might like.

Those who have played the original Wordle will note that this four-word Quordle variation is longer in length. Three additional guesses for three additional words. This means that you have more leeway when it comes to what you can try at the beginning of the puzzle, so it’s good to take that extra space to choose three words that all have different letters and include all the vowels. That way, by the fourth guess you’ll have many of the letters on the keyboard either eliminated or already highlighted in yellow or green.

If you’re looking for more Quordles to play after finishing this puzzle, you can find a practice area on the official website. Additional daily puzzles are also accessible if you move the time and date on your device of choice a few days forward or backward. Doing so might break your hot streak, though, so you’ll want to make sure you protect your achievements by playing on another browser or device.
