We chose “ENDOW” as the most challenging word only due to the “D” and “W” consonants. The “EN-” beginning can be a bit tricky to get because the “E” vowel isn’t typically in the first position of a five-letter word. If you’re able to get the “D” in “DYING,” though, it will make it easier for you to figure out the missing “W” near the end as there aren’t many solutions to “ENDO?” really. Once you figure out the “-ING” ending for “DYING,” you should be able to figure out the rest of the word.
“UTILE” is one example of a word that may be extremely rare, an adjective that means advantageous or a noun that refers to a tropical African hardwood tree, but is rather easy because all of its letters are common. The usual strategy for completing Quordles is to guess three words immediately at the beginning that include all the basic consonants and all of the vowels. Doing so will promptly give you all the letters of “UTILE” either verified in the green or yellow. The same goes for “SULLY,” though you may need some courage to guess the second “L” letter if you’re at all unsure.
