Destiny 2 Season 21 leaks highlights

These are the major changes that will be coming to Destiny 2 Season 21, or Season of the Deep:

  • Power Simplification – Power is now a single, account-scoped value. Players can enter any activity at any level and can ignore Power level for most activities. Fireteam power will allow players to jump right into combat with friends.
  • Power Levels 1 to 100 – Completing weekly and seasonal challenges will grant 1 to 3 power levels. You can also gain 1 power level for every 250,00 XP, but the focus will be on completing challenges.
  • No Gear Infusion – Players don’t need to infuse gear anymore and can freely switch between characters.
  • Unexpected Resurgence – This new Arc Adaptive Glaive will be a part of the Season 21 Trials Weapons.
  • Season 21 Weapons – These are six Taken reckoning weapons: a Statis aggressive submachine gun, a Strand rapid-fire pulse rifle, a Strand rapid-fire sniper, a Strand rapid-fire shotgun, a Void aggressive hand cannon, an a Strand vortex sword.
  • Dungeon Weapons – This includes Oceanic dive equipment, including a Statis wave frame breech grenade launcher, a Solar rapid-fire glaive, a Solar aggressive submachine gun, and a Statis aggressive rocket launcher.
  • Weapons Rebalanced – Submachine guns have reduced base damage, rapid-fire fusion rifles have more burst damage, trace rifles have increased base damage, and sniper rifles have 10% more PvE damage.
  • Numerous Exotic Weapon and Armor changes – There will be many buffs and nerfs applied to exotic weapons and armor across all classes. For instance, the Graviton Lance will have increased rate of fire while Salvation’s Grip can now fire off grenades in its uncharged state.
