In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, amiibo figures can unlock various items and equipment. Scanning these figures against your Nintendo Switch’s NFC scanner can add exclusive items to your game. But which Amiibo’s work in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?
What Amiibos are compatible with Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?
All amiibo figures will work with Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Amiibos from characters in the Zelda series will give you unique in-game items, while non-Zelda amiibos will just spawn random loot.
All Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom amiibos have identical rewards as in Zelda: Breath of The Wild, with a couple of exceptions
Here’s a list of every Zelda amiibo and their associated games, compatible with Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Compatible Breath of The Wild amiibos:
- Link (Archer)
- Link (Rider)
- Zelda
- Guardian – This will not give guardian-related items in ToTK
- Bokoblin
- Revali
- Daruk
- Mipha
- Urbosa
Compatible Super Smash Bros. amiibos:
- Link
- Zelda
- Toon Link
- Sheik
- Ganondorf
- Young Link
Other compatible Zelda amiibos:
- Link (NES)
- Link (Ocarina of Time)
- Link (Majora’s Mask)
- Link (Wind Waker)
- Zelda (Wind Waker)
- Link (Twilight Princess)
- Link (Skyward Sword)
- Zelda & Loftwing (Skyward Sword)
- Wolf Link (Twilight Princess) – This will not spawn Wolf Link in ToTK

Many of these amiibo give you one-off rewards, but some only have a small chance of spawning a special item. Amiibos can only be used once a day, so use this workaround to use them multiple times a day.
