The Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Silver Bokoblin enemy needs to be killed many times over for the Silver Bokoblin Horn. There are several armor sets in TotK that require the horn as part of the final tier of upgrades, particularly the popular and fashionable Hylian armor set. This includes the Hylian Hood, Hylian Trousers, and Hylian Tunic. But finding the Silver Bokoblin can be difficult if you don’t know how and where they could spawn too. Here’s some information on the location of the Silver Bokoblin enemy in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Where are the Silver Bokoblin locations?
Your best chance to find a Silver Bokoblin is a camp in The Depths that’s near the chasm at Eventide Island. Within the vicinity around Lone Island Coliseum is an encampment of Silver Bokoblin.
However, in general, you won’t find Silver Bokoblin until you begin killing various bokoblins throughout the game. Similar to the Lynel enemies, you need to slay the weaker forms of the bokoblin like the Red, Blue, and Black variants.
The game doesn’t tell you just how many of these less dangerous bokoblins you need to kill, but at some point, Silver Bokoblins will begin spawning at almost every encampment hat has bokoblins. It can be annoying to a degree because of how much damage they can deal, especially if you get overwhelmed, but it does give you a greater chance for its horn to drop.
How many Silver Bokoblin Horns do you need to upgrade Hylian armor set?
The Hylian Tunic, Hylian Hood, and Hylian Trousers each require 5 Silver Bokoblin Horns to upgrade to the final fourth tier of armor upgrades.
Each piece will also need 500 rupees, 5 Bokoblin Guts, and 30 Amber for the Tier 4 upgrade. This will upgrade the defense for each piece of the Hylian armor set from 12 to 20. That’s actually not a bad stat upgrade.
