Carbon Fiber is a highly valuable material essencial for crafting advanced weaponry, tools, and equipment in the later stages of Palworld. It unlocks exciting possibilities but requires some effort to obtain. It is an essential component for crafting powerful weapons such as Rocket Launchers, Assault Rifles, Pump-action Shotguns, and more.
Where to get Carbon Fiber in Palworld
In Palworld, Carbon Fiber can be obtained through two main methods:
Crafting
This is the most reliable and efficient way to get Carbon Fiber. You’ll need to unlock the Production Assembly Line in the Technology menu, which requires you to be level 28. Once you have it, you can craft Carbon Fiber using two methods:
- Using Coal: This is the more straightforward option, but Coal can be a bit rarer to find. You can mine it in desert areas, like the one in the center of the Archipelago or the larger one on the northeast side of the map.
- Using Charcoal: This is more readily available, as you can make it by processing Wood in your Furnace. However, it requires two Wood to make one Charcoal, so it’s not as efficient in terms of resources.
Defeating Specific Pals
Two Pals have a chance to drop Carbon Fiber when defeated:
- Jetragon: This Legendary Dragon Pal is located north of the Beach of Everlasting Summer Fast Travel waypoint. It’s a tough opponent, but it also drops Diamonds, which are valuable for selling.
- Shadowbeak: This Pal is found on the eastern edge of the Number 3 Wildlife Sanctuary island. It’s known for its high defense, so be prepared for a challenging battle. It also drops Pal Metal Ingot, the strongest grade of Ingot in the game.
While defeating these Pals can be rewarding, it’s not the most reliable way to farm Carbon Fiber due to the low drop rate. It’s best to use this method only if you’re already planning to fight these Pals for other reasons.
