I've been banging it hard on Yakuza 0 all week long and it's fantastic. It's kind of exhausting to five to nine hours per day of playing one video game into a schedule that already includes a bunch of writing, maintaining a damn house, and not neglecting a full time "real" job, but I've been really digging Sega's latest Yakuza effort.
Everything about it is an improvement. Battles, story, characters, exploration, graphics, sound, music, sub quests — they're all a step up from other numbered Yakuza games. With Ishin also being on PS4, but being set in samurai times, it's harder to draw some comparisons like the environments and stuff.
It's also got surprisingly fun multiplayer mini games of bowling, darts, billiards, and disco dancing. I guess Japan 1988 was like America 1974?
