The award-winning The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has shipped over 10 million copies of the game to retail, equating to over $650 million in sales.
Bethesda also revealed that Skyrim was the fastest-selling Steam game ever and outsold all other PC releases three-to-one during its first month of release.
Skyrim has already been named "Game of the Year" by a number of media outlets, including last weekend's Spike TV Video Game Awards. The game is also being considered for GameRevolution's Game of the Year category, which is the most esteemed award any game can receive from any outlet on the internet or in print, in this world or another alternate universe.
