Neversoft is Making An FPS

In the last decade, Neversoft has made a name for themselves in the gaming industry by defining new genres. They're the guys who made skateboarding games cool and brought about the reign of rhythm games that lasted for roughly the last five years. But now Tony Hawk games involve a retarded skate-controller-thingy that doesn't work and our plastic guitars are nothing more than a silent obituary for the Guitar Hero franchise.  So of course, being the innovative, forward thinkers they are, they've decided the best thing to do was hop on the FPS band wagon with all the other devs at Activision, such as Treyarch and Sledgehammer and make one of their own.

Right now over at the Neversoft hiring page you can find positions open for designers (level and Multiplayer), artists and engineers for an unnamed FPS project. The opening for a lead Windows Engineer pretty much spills the beans that whatever mystery game they're going to be working on will be headed to the PC, but that's about all we know at this time. Could this be another spin-off from the Call of Duty series or will we get a fresh, new IP from these guys? I'm thinking a game where you ride around on roller blades shooting at stuff with your magic ukulele gun would be cool. But as long it has some sort of proprietary controller that takes up a ton of space and is useless for any other games, I'll be happy.
