Chrissy Teigen is a big fan of the Nintendo Switch. Typically, “this celebrity is a big fan of this console” wouldn’t exactly be headline news, but Chrissy is such a massive supporter of Nintendo’s handheld/home console hybrid that she’s essentially embarking upon a one-woman marketing tour for the company, completely free of charge.
This week it was the American model’s birthday, with her husband John Legend buying her a Switch-themed cake to celebrate:

But this isn’t the only time Chrissy has shared her love of the console. There was also the time she called Mayor Pauline a “fake ass” for showing her support for Bowser and Peach’s wedding in Super Mario Odyssey:

Or that time she covertly played it while watching a basketball game:

In November, Chrissy made a plea to the internet to find her Switch after losing it while on her travels in Springfield.

Asking her followers for a “Christmas miracle,” she expressed concern that she was going to lose her progress in Super Mario Odyssey:
I left my Nintendo at the courtyard marriott in Springfield please I need a Christmas miracle. I need my moons back

Fortunately, her reward was found by a fan, who called the hotel she was staying in to confirm its whereabouts:
GOD IS GOOD

Chrissy then posted a video of John Legend returning her Switch to her, complete with her copy of Super Mario Odyssey and all of her moons in tact:

Chrissy Teigen’s infamous Twitter account is filled with references to the Switch, with the console continuing to find fans in the most unlikeliest of places. I wonder if she’s got around to playing Xenoblade Chronicles 2 yet?
