Shadow of the Tomb Raider could be called the worst kept secret of 2018. However, now that it’s here we couldn’t be more excited to have it in our lives. The franchise does still seem to be having trouble keeping things a secret because the Shadow of the Tomb Raider box art and special editions have been revealed.
Not a lot can be taken from them, especially considering the information hasn’t been officially released and thus we can’t confirm the authenticity of all the features included. Nonetheless, a quick look shows that there are to be multiple special editions for players to get their hands on. The steel book version, in particular, looks pretty cool and if the Collector’s Edition is to believed then there’s a possibility of a kickass statue too? Sign us up, Square Enix.
What’s more, it was revealed on their Twitter that tomorrow would be the day that there would be an official reveal of the newest game. Though some very lucky individuals are already attending the reveal event in London tonight. We’re only a little bit jealous.

In the tweet above. the teaser trailer (featuring no official gameplay) for the game was once again shown, as well as a promise of a full-length trailer tomorrow. The Shadow of the Tomb Raider has been described on its official website as the game that shows “Lara Croft’s defining moment as she becomes the Tomb Raider.”
There have been hints indicated by a French magazine that reveals characters such as Joslin Reyes, Sam Nishimura and Jonah Maiava will be making a return too. While this isn’t completely confirmed, there will be at least some fans out there pleased to see some familiar faces.
Check back tomorrow to see our full write up of the Shadow of the Tomb Raider reveal.
