Bethesda teased us just last week with a post on Twitter hinting at yet another exciting new game reveal. Today we finally know what it is, a new Wolfenstein title.
Wolfenstein: The New Order is a "reimagining" of the classic first-person shooter franchise, and is being developed by the guys over at MachineGames. For those that don't know, MachineGames is made up of talent from Starbreeze Studios, so there's no doubt that the future of the series is in good hands.
“We are excited to bring a new chapter of Wolfenstein to gamers everywhere,” Jens Matthies, the creative director at MachineGames said. “As fans of the series, working on this game is an honor, and our team is driven to create an unforgettable action-adventure experience that will make FPS fans proud.”
The game is set to launch during the fourth quarter of 2013 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and next-gen consoles.
