Developer 4A Games is officially bringing Metro Redux to the Nintendo Switch. The Metro Redux Switch release announcement comes after the circulation of several Metro Switch port rumors.
4A Games confirmed the Switch port with a new trailer, showcasing the moody, subterranean environments of Metro Redux — a remastered collection of 2010’s Metro 2033, 2013’s Metro: Last Light, and all DLC for both games. 4A Games also noted that all of this content is contained on the Switch cart itself, requiring no additional dowload.

Unlike other Switch ports, which are often handled by a different developer than the games’ creators, the Metro Redux port was developed in-house by 4A Games. It is currently up for pre-order for $49.99, with a suite of physical goodies (a game case sleeve, two pins, a poster, and two art cards) for those that pre-order a physical version. The Metro Redux Switch release date is set for February 28, 2020.
