Destiny 2 new dungeon Prophecy upside down

Destiny 2’s Prophecy dungeon flips the world upside down

The Destiny 2 new dungeon is one of the many surprising reveals that arrived in today’s stream that is sure to get played hyped up for new content. The Destiny 2 Prophecy dungeon will provide players with a new challenge — and a cool new set of Daito Foundry Armor if they manage to survive.

Destiny 2 is no stranger to high-flying antics, but the Prophecy dungeon takes things to a new level. This Destiny 2 new dungeon has strange alien geometries that quite literally flip the world on its head; it’s almost as if you’re playing inside of an M.C. Escher painting.

A key element of this dungeon will be multiple low-gravity sections where players must use their platforming skills to survive. It looks like a pretty steep drop into the abyss, so you certainly want to be careful as you move across the floating platforms in some of the trickier bits.

Your Sparrow skills will be tested, too — we also got to see a fair few sections where Guardians were riding their mechanical mounts across long tendrils suspended in the sky. This, however, is only half of the puzzle.

Destiny 2 new dungeon Prophecy Daito Foundry Armor

While some parts of this new Destiny 2 dungeon are wide-open areas, others are a fair bit more claustrophobic. Some sections of this dungeon have an 80s synthwave look with glowing neon lights in darkened colors. Others look like ancient temples with strange features like stairs on the ceiling and enemies in every direction.

There’s also some loot to be found in the various challenges within. If you can manage to successfully navigate the Destiny 2 new dungeon, you’ll score a sweet set of Daito Foundry Armor for your efforts. As always, there are three distinctive versions of the armor: one each for Titan, Warlock, and Hunter.

You can see some of the amazing scenery in the Destiny 2 Prophecy dungeon trailer below.
