The Dead By Daylight Hellraiser crosser has been confirmed, as the Cenobite has been confirmed as the horror multiplayer game’s next killer. This confirms that the much-rumored and teased Hellraiser crossover is indeed happening. The Dead By Daylight Cenobite crossover officially brings iconic movie villain Pinhead into the game, and the Cenobite is available to play on the PTB server as of today’s patch. So, what’s in the Dead By Daylight PTB patch notes 5.2.0 for today, August 17?
What is the Dead By Daylight Hellraiser Cenobite killer?
Dead By Daylight’s new ‘The Cenobite’ killer is the official name for Pinhead, the leader of the demonic Cenobites in the Hellraiser series of movies. As usual with Dead By Daylight, the various licensed killers don’t go by their real names, so Freddy Krueger becomes ‘The Nightmare’ and Michael Myers becomes ‘The Shape’.
The Cenobite is able to summon chain projectiles to launch at survivors, and even use his power Lament Configuration to torture all remaining survivors at once. His perks are Deadlock, Hex: Plaything, and Scourge Hook: Gift of Pain, which allow Pinhead to further torture survivors and slow generator progress.
Elsewhere in the PTB patch 5.2.0, on the content side, the patch is nicknamed ‘The Nemesis Update’ by developer Behaviour Interactive, so there are a number of improvements to the Resident Evil DLC that released several months ago. These include a movement increase for Nemesis when it charges with Tentacle Strike Tier 3, and doubling the effect duration of both the Shattered S.T.A.R.S. and Iridescent Umbrella badges. There are also plenty of map and bug fixes, including the removal of an issue that ominously caused a “save file problem.” Lucky that’s been fixed, then.
We have such sights to show you! #Hellraiser… coming soon.
