She-Hulk Episode 7: Man-Bull, El Aguila, Porcupine, and Saracen Join MCU

She-Hulk episode 7 just made its debut on Disney Plus, introducing not one, but four new villains to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Man-Bull, El Aguila, Porcupine, and Saracen were all featured in the series, which offered a surprising new take on the characters when compared to the bad guys that comic book fans may recognize.

Four villains in one episode may seem like overkill, but Man-Bull, El Aguila, Porcupine, and Saracen all made their MCU debut as visitors to the recently-released Emil Blonsky’s health and wellness retreat. Shown to be working through their personal issues as part of their treatment at the resort, it would appear that the group is more interested in becoming better versions of themselves than causing chaos through criminality. They even helped our titular hero push through her own problems, after being ghosted by her new love interest, Josh.

In Marvel Comics, Man-Bull, aka William Taurens, was transformed by his former boss Mr. Kline, after Daredevil stopped him from kidnapping people off the street to be Kline’s test subjects. El Aguila is a mutant who has been an adversary to both Iron Fist and Power Man, but who has also fought against crime with a particular focus on taking down drug dealers and criminals taking advantage of those in the most need of help. Then there’s Porcupine, of which there have been three versions of the classic Ant-Man villain throughout the years. Saracen, meanwhile, is known to be one of the first vampires on Earth, who is thought to be a member of the Ancient alongside other long-lived bloodsuckers such as Nosferatu.

While it’s clear that the history for all of these characters is rich, it wasn’t that which was focused on in She-Hulk episode 7. Instead, it was their internal conflict that was given the spotlight, as Blonsky put his newfound freedom to good use, encouraging them all to get to the root of their personal struggles, and fight against that for a brighter future.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law continues Thursdays on Disney Plus.

In other news, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman confirmed Logan is still canon after their Deadpool 3 Twitter announcement, and Andor viewers spotted an Easter Egg in the form of Starkiller armor in episode 4 of the Star Wars series.
