Titanfall “Will Be a Franchise That’s Around for a Long, Long Time,” Says EA

Electronic Arts is very confident in the longevity of Respawn Entertainment's upcoming shooter, Titanfall.

"As you can imagine, this will be a franchise that’s around for a long, long time. I think people will be very excited," EA CFO Blake Jorgensen said at the Stifel Technology, Internet & Media Conference.

But where will Titanfall fit within the publisher's array of shooter franchises like Battlefield and Battlefront? Is there enough room for all three? "All three of those are different, all three of those can coexist in any one year, and we feel like they’re pillars for us going forward in an area where the consumer really wants to have that kind of excitement in a video game," Jorgensen added.

Titanfall launches next month on March 11th for Xbox One and PC, and two weeks later on Xbox 360.
