[Update 2] Activision has released a video titled "Superpower for Hire," in an effort to build up excitement for May 4th's big Call of Duty reveal. Accompanying the video is the following description:

In addition, the company released the following infographic, clearly hinting at the theme of Sledgehammer's upcoming game.
[Update 1] Sledgehammer's upcoming Call of Duty title has been revealed to be the cover story of the latest issue of Game Informer. As a tease, the outlet posted the following screenshot, which looks incredibly impressive.
The image is labeled "Blacksmith" leading to speculation that this new title could very well be called Call of Duty: Blacksmith.
In addition, GI's Andy McNamara let slip on Twitter that the May 4th reveal will include a trailer for the game, though, I'm sure you all were expecting that anyway.
[Original] On May 4th, Activision and Sledgehammer Games will pull back the curtain on what's next for its popular military shooter franchise, Call of Duty.
A countdown timer on the official site for the franchise is ticking down to Sunday, at which point we'll finally learn more about what's next for COD fans in 2014.
