Sony announced a new update for the SingStar karaoke platform that's been with the PlayStation platform for several years now and fans will like to hear that they can even take it with them on mobile phones via the SingStar companion app.
If you're really into singing with friends, Sony says you can download SingStar for free on PlayStation 3 or PlayStation 4 right now and then download the songs you want to play from the digital store.
Sony has priced individual songs at $1.49 and song packs will go for $5.99 which allows users to add what they want and ignore artists and music they don't like.
On the PlayStation Blog, Jenny Murphy writes "The best news is if you have already purchased songs from the SingStore or PSN for SingStar on PS3, then if the song is available on PS4 you will be able to download it to your PS4 at no extra charge as long as you are logged in to the same SEN account."
