What is the max level cap in New World?

You’re going to grow and become more powerful as you fight your way through New World. However, you can’t grow indefinitely; eventually you’re going to reach the level cap. This upper limit is designed to keep both the players and the world in check. So, what’s the current max level cap? And is there anything left to do after you reach it?

What's the current max level cap in New World?

The current max level in New World is capped at 60. Beyond that point, you won’t be able to make any more progress. However, since New World is bound to grow as an MMO, the max level cap will probably be raised at some point in the future.

Let’s be real for a moment: You’re not going to reach level 60 very easily. Like any good online RPG, progression in New World takes both time and effort. There’s a lot to do in this game, and even more to learn, especially when it comes to mastering each weapon or side activities like fishing. Of course, that’s assuming you aren’t currently stuck waiting to login.

However, it’s fairly safe to assume this won’t be the max level cap forever. As bigger MMOs grow, so do their worlds. And as those worlds expand, so do the dangers. Eventually, Amazon Games will have to find a way to challenge players who have already reached the max level. The developers will probably either raise the level cap or reset certain skills or gear during new quests. There’s no telling which direction the studio will go, but raising the cap is the simplest solution.

Thankfully, reaching the max level cap of 60 in New World is not the end. In fact, that’s when you’ll encounter some of the best post-game content. Fear not, because there will still be plenty to do once you’ve reached the level cap. After that, you’ll probably be able to earn more experience once Amazon Games Studios releases more content.
