Crash Bandicoot 4 Triple Spin | How to use

Understanding how to use the Crash Bandicoot 4 Triple Spin is vital for getting good times in the game’s Time Trials. Platinum Relics are essentially unattainable through normal means. But how do you get the Triple Spin? And how do you perform it? Keep in mind that you will also need to know how to do this for the “Whoa!” and “Showoff” trophies.

To get the Triple Spin, you’ll need to finish the critical path and then beat the final boss. Once you defeat that mysterious person, you will see the credits and then get the pop-up telling you that you’ve gotten the Triple Spin.

Here’s how to perform the Crash 4 Triple Spin:

  • Make sure you are moving as you can’t do this move standing still
  • Tap the Square button (on PS4) or X button (on Xbox One)
  • Pause for a beat
  • Then press the Square button (on PS4) or X button (on Xbox One)
  • Pause for a beat
  • Then finally Square button (on PS4) or X button (on Xbox One) for one last time

Do not mash! Mashing the spin button does nothing. You need to time your button presses and press the spin button just before your current spin animation is done. You don’t have to wait that long to do your next spin but you can’t mash it. You’ll know that you have done it correctly because each stage of the spin has a different tell.

The second spin, if you’ve timed your tap well, will have a bit of a blue tint to it. Crash will also lean a little bit in the direction you are moving.

The final spin that gives you your speed boost has a lot of blue tint in it and Crash will heavily tilt in the direction you are moving in. The spin radius is also a little bigger than usual.
