The new 2021 iPhone range is right around the corner, though Apple is remaining tight-lipped on what models it’ll include. As such, there’s plenty of speculation surrounding a potential iPhone 13 Mini. But, will there be an iPhone 13 Mini release date? Here are the latest reports surrounding the upcoming Apple September event and iPhone 13 announcement.
Is an Apple iPhone 13 Mini coming out?
Reports suggest that Apple will release an iPhone 13 Mini in September 2021.
iPhone 13 Mini could be the final Mini model iPhone to launch. Reportedly, the iPhone Mini 12 sales performance was underwhelming by Apple’s standards. The California tech giant likely already had plans for a follow-up model, which is what consumers should see hit the market next month. Looking further into the future, however, numerous Apple insiders claim that there will be no more iPhone Mini versions from there.
Of course, should the iPhone 13 Mini prove phenomenally popular there’s the potential for plans to change. With that said, many people in the market for a smaller phone simply opt for the cheaper iPhone SE model, which also looks set to receive a revision soon. Meanwhile, those seeking a larger and/or more premium handset opt for the higher-end models. This leaves the iPhone Mini in a somewhat tough position, which appears to have had an impact on sales.
So, there will be an iPhone 13 Mini if the current reporting is accurate. Anyone that opts to purchase the smartphone might need to hold onto it for a while, though, as it seemingly won’t be getting a hardware revision anytime soon.
