Where is Epona in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?
You need a Link amiibo to find Epona in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. You can use the Super Smash Bros. Link or the Twilight Princess Link amiibo to summon Epona. Tap the Link amiibo on your Switch’s NFC reader, and Epona will spawn. Epona has a four-star rating across all horse stats.
If Epona doesn’t spawn, you must move to a different area. To avoid this problem, we recommend summoning Epona where there are already wild horses.
Epona does not need to be tamed, but you’ll still need to register the horse at a stable to prevent it from disappearing. However, you won’t be able to rename the horse (and why would you want to anyway?)
