Following the recent push for transparency between developers and players, we’ve seen many AAA game devs become much more communicative and open about what they are working on. After a lengthy silence, members of the Battlefront 2 development team have now begun to respond to waves of player questions.
DICE Design Director Dennis Brännvall has been most vocal, regularly posting updates on Twitter and the Battlefront 2 official forums. His recent responses confirm that the Battlefront 2 Clone Wars DLC is being worked on, and hints at other potential content add-ons.
Responding to a forum post by HypergamerMk2, Brännvall (FireWall) gave a nod to Battlefront 2 Clone Wars DLC.
HypergamerMk2:
I think I speak for everyone when I say:
are we getting conquest
any news on more customization (personally I would love it if you would make it more that just having a skin. Jaig eyes, for example)
any clone wars content?
But I only speak for me when I say #CaptRexInBFII
FireWall:
We’re obviously hearing the requests about a more open, free-flowing large mode like Conquest. Not sure if porting a mode over is the right way to go, but we’re definitely working on satisfying that request.

“You’re exactly the kind of men I need in the 501st.”
Scrolling through Brännvall’s Twitter feed provides many teases at what could be coming. Take a look at the selection below:
We’re doing client patches every 4 weeks currently and hoping to improve on that. Server patches are more frequent than that.

The majority of the community will no doubt be cheering the confirmation of Battlefront 2 Clone Wars DLC, while continuing to applaud the developers who are being transparent and keeping players informed.
