Sony has revealed its financial earnings report and in doing so, the company has released the latest numbers for its hardware and software sales. It has been confirmed that sales of the PS4 have officially exceeded 75 million units, with over 2.5 million units of that sold in the last quarter.
According to Sony Interactive Entertainment’s latest figures, the Sony PlayStation 4 initially sold 73.6 million units as of December 31st, 2017. In the last quarter which ended as of March 31st, 2018, the console sold an additional 2.5 million units, which brings the total lifetime sales of the PS4 to 76.1 million.
There’s more good news for the company as its Games and Network division managed to earn ¥445 billion in revenue during the last quarter, which is actually an incredible 16.5 percent increase from last year.
