The PlayStation Now July 2019 additions are giving users a whole slew of new titles for the summer months. Whether you’re a fan of loot shooting or car soccer, there is probably something here for subscribers of the game streaming service.
As alluded to, there are two popular titles headlining this month’s lineup. The first is Rocket League, Psyonix’s competitive vehicle-based soccer game. Originally released back in 2015, the game has garnered quite the following along with loads of downloadable content featuring some of pop culture’s most famous vehicles.
Just last month, Rocket League‘s ’80s-inspired Radical Summer event brought new free items and game modes. It also added Ghostbuster‘s Ecto-1 to its growing roster of vehicles. The next car pack, which releases on July 22, will feature the iconic car K.I.T.T. from Knight Rider. The Radical Summer event ends on August 12.
The second game is Borderlands: The Handsome Collection. The bundle includes both Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. Although the two loot shooters released back in 2012 and 2014 respectively, they have been updated with high definition visuals so it isn’t too hard to look at. If you own a PS4 Pro and a 4K television, there is a free Ultra HD Texture Pack that will up the resolution to 4K. It’s also the perfect bundle to get you ready for Borderlands 3 when it releases in September.
