The main Xbox & Bethesda Game Showcase is due to run on June 12, but this won’t be the only show Microsoft has planned for the week. Just a couple of days later, there will be an extended Xbox show with 90 minutes of all-new gameplay footage and news. While Microsoft is keeping fairly quiet about the games expected to appear during the Xbox and Bethesda 2022 showcase, we do know ARK 2 will be one of them.
What to expect from the Xbox & Bethesda Game Showcase
The Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase will feature “everything you want to know about the gaming lineup coming to Xbox and PC, including upcoming releases on Xbox Game Pass, and more”. The first show can be seen on Twitch, Youtube, and Facebook at 10 am PT on June 12. This will then be followed two days later by the Xbox Games Showcase Extended, which will have an all-new lineup of trailers, deeper dives into the games from the first Showcase, and interviews with some of the developers. The Extended show will air at 10 am PT on June 14, again on Twitch, Youtube, and Facebook. Both shows are expected to be around 90 minutes in length.
Microsoft has managed to keep the contents of its show under wraps for now, except for one game. Thanks to the ARK France Twitter, as spotted by ResetEra, we know ARK 2 will be showing up at the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase with “exclusive content” during the show on June 12, 2022. Rumors had already started over the game’s potential appearance at the show after ARK: Survival Evolved’s upcoming expansion, Fjordur, was given a release date for the same day. The banner above does indeed seem to confirm that Fjordur will also be at the show.
In other news, Xbox Design Lab is currently down for maintenance but is due to reappear on or before June 9, when the Pride controller will be available for customization and purchase. Elsewhere, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet fans believe the two new Legendary Pokemon will be ride-on vehicles.
