The Nintendo Switch Sports online play test begins on Friday, February 18 and will run until Sunday, February 20. Those taking part will be placed in random matches of Tennis, Bowling or Chambara during the times the test is online. The aim of the online test is to “evaluate various technical aspects and help improve the quality of the game”. The test will be online during the following times:

  • 7:00-7:45 PM PT

February 19

  • 3:00-3:45 AM PT
  • 11:00-11:45 AM PT
  • 7:00-7:45 PM PT

February 20

Players wanting to take part in the online play test can register at the Nintendo Switch Sports official website. To do so you need to sign in to a Nintendo Account and have an active Nintendo Switch Online membership. If you don’t have an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription, you can still take part if you set up a free 7-day trial. Be aware, though, that the trial can only be activated once per account. Once you’re signed up to the online play test, you will be redirected to My Nintendo where you’ll receive and be able to activate your play test code.
